CallMerlin Edge is the optional on-prem option: sensitive tool traffic, knowledge and logs stay in your organisation’s network or your MSP’s. PIN rights, approvals and product updates stay with CallMerlin. Early access, not a standard product yet. Most teams start with EU cloud and PIN vaults.
For MSPs, regulated mid-market and IT with a hard rule that sensitive data must not casually leave for a vendor cloud. You keep that data under your control. CallMerlin keeps managing rights, approvals and updates.
What problem does Edge solve?
Not extra AI features, a stricter boundary for where sensitive data stays.
Data must not leave by default
Prompts, documents, tool data or knowledge must not sit on the vendor’s shared cloud servers by default. Edge keeps that flow inside your network or your MSP’s.
MSPs selling AI to customers
MSPs want to deliver managed AI without shipping customer secrets unfiltered to a vendor cloud. You host Edge; CallMerlin provides the product, rights and updates.
Security and audit requirements
You already get PIN, exclusive vaults and approval before writes in the cloud version. Edge adds: sensitive data closer to your systems and audit export closer to your logging.
When Edge is not needed
If EU hosting, PIN and approval are enough, stay on standard cloud. Edge is optional, not a prerequisite to choose CallMerlin.

Narrowly scoped. Not required for everyone.
